LVMGC SCRIP Policy

Former and Deceased Member SCRIP Policy As agreed by the Board of Directors, any member that does not renew their membership for the upcoming calendar year, will have one year to use any remaining SCRIP the member may have on the books at the Los Verdes Golf Course Pro Shop.

If the SCRIP funds are not used by the former member within one calendar year after their non renewal, in effect by 12/31 of the following year, any unused balance will be returned to the LOS VEREDES MEN’S CLUB (LVMC) to be used as designated by the Board of Directors.

As agreed by the Board of Directors, in the event of the death of a current member of the LVMC, who has a balance on the SCRIP books in the Los Verdes Golf Course Pro Shop, the Board though the Attorney Auditor, will make every effort to contact the family of the deceased member and advise them of the balance on the SCRIP books. The family may request a check be issued to them for the remaining balance. In the event the family decides to donate the funds back to the LVMC, the funds will be used as determined by the Board of Directors. The LVMC will only issue a check of the remaining SCRIP balances at the death of a current and active member, or during the one year period for a non renewing member.
