Dear Members,

As summer winds down and we head into the fall golf season, I can’t help but feel proud of our club's momentum and spirit. The last few months have been filled with great competition, camaraderie, and many laughs on and off the course. With some of our most exciting events, September promises to keep that energy alive.

Celebrating Our Club Champions

Our Club Championship is always one of the year's highlights, and this year did not disappoint. Congratulations to our champions: Calvin Japco, who captured the Gross Flight title with steady play; Marc Souza, our Flight A winner who showed great consistency; Willie Krenz, who defeated Doug Holker in dramatic style with a putt-off after tying on the first playoff hole to take Flight B; and Greg Lipinski, who claimed victory in Flight C. Each of you displayed outstanding golf under pressure and gave us a weekend of thrilling competition to remember.

September Members Meeting – Wednesday, September 10th

This month’s meeting is shaping up to be something special. We’ll start with a putting competition, so bring your best touch on the greens. We’re also introducing our first-ever Los Verdes Men’s Club Swap Meet—an opportunity to trade, buy, or sell old golf equipment with fellow members. And for the main event, Stephen Turner is bringing us the club’s very first Ryder Cup Cornhole Tournament. Stephen has kept our meeting battles alive all year, and this promises to be bigger, louder, and even more fun. You won’t want to miss it.

The Member-Guest Tournament – Sunday, September 21st - Don’t Miss Out!

Spots are filling up quickly for one of our signature events, the Member-Guest Tournament. Beyond the great golf, this day is packed with hospitality, camaraderie, and fun. Members and their guests will enjoy amazing raffle prizes, swag bags loaded with cool gear, and an atmosphere that truly showcases what makes our club unique. It’s a can’t-miss tradition, so bring your favorite guest and secure your spot before it’s gone.
